There is a new addition to the team of Dutch asset managers NN Investment Partners. Marina Iodice, who has ten years of experience in the areas of responsible investing and impact investing, will join the Sustainable & Impact Equity team in The Hague as a new senior portfolio manager for impact investing as of July 1st. The team includes Senior Portfolio Manager Ivo Luiten, Lead Portfolio Manager Huub van der Riet and the analyst team. The aim is to manage NNIP’s Global Impact Equity strategy and the three thematic impact equity funds Smart Connectivity, Health & Wellbeing and Climate & Environment. The reports will go to Hendrik-Jan Boer (Citywire Rating AA), Head of Sustainable & Impact Equity Investing. One of their tasks will be to develop NN IP’s methodology for impact measurement.
Marina Iodice previously coordinated ESG engagement initiatives with international investors at ”Mirova”, the subsidiary of Natixis Investment Managers in Paris. These investors are particularly specialised in sustainable investment. Since 2013, she has been head of sustainability research for the energy and healthcare sector. During a sabbatical in 2017, Iodice also volunteered for six months to work for the Kiva microfinance platform in Nicaragua.
