From AllianzGI to Lupus Alpha...

The second-tier fund manager Jonas Liegl from Allianz Global Investors, who previously worked as portfolio manager for European small and micro caps, moved to Lupus Alpha. His responsibilities include responsibility for the public fund Lupus alpha Micro Champions and the analysis and stock selection of the eight-member Pan-European team.

Liegl has more than ten years of experience in the analysis and portfolio management of european micro, small and mid caps. Most recently, he was Portfolio Manager at Allianz Global Investors, where he was responsible for institutional mandates in the area of European small and micro caps with a volume of several billion euros. At Deka Investment, Liegl worked as a portfolio manager for German and European small caps and as the manager responsible for the Deka-Deutschland small-caps mutual fund.

Götz Albert, Partner and CIO at Lupus alpha is delighted to welcome a proven micro-cap specialist who also covers the entire spectrum of the small caps segment and has outstanding experience in managing large institutional mandates.

After 15 years of successful cooperation, the current portfolio manager Peter Conzatti will hand over responsibility for the fund on July 1st, 2020 to devote himself to new tasks. Götz Albert regrets the departure of Peter Conzatti, who was part of the Small and Mid Cap team for a long time and wishes him personally all the best.
